Preparing for the job search requires a lot of self-reflection; it especially requires asking yourself whether or not what you think you do as a researcher is actually what, in fact, you do.
So while thinking about these things I headed over to Wordle where I uploaded all of the work I have published and/or presented at conferences as a graduate student. You can imagine my excitement (and relief) when my word cloud appeared exactly as I had hoped and expected:
